Marymount University Library holds a modest collection of resources on artists’ books. While it does not have primary source artists’ books, the collection offers valuable reference materials. As part of the Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC), Marymount shares its resources with other universities in the DC area. This makes it a helpful starting point for students and researchers exploring the field of book art.
Finding Artists’ Books
To search for artists’ books at Marymount, start with the WRLC catalog. Enter “artists’ books” in quotation marks in the search box. Select “keyword” from the drop-down menu on the left and “Marymount” from the menu on the right. Click the search button. The results will include reference works about artists’ books as well as other shared electronic resources.
